Skye Road, a photo from Western Isles, Scotland

Photographer's Note

It's rainbow season on the west coast of Scotland. The weather changes from minute to minute, rain, overcast, sunshine, strong winds. While walking over the Skye bridge from Kyleakin to the mainland. This rainbow presented itself, I had to be quick an take this shot before the sunshine creating it disappeared behind another cloud.

In the foreground is the Kyle of Lochalsh and strip of water separating the Isle of Skye from the mainland and the road which leads up and over the Skye bridge.

Resubmitted with more contrast, sharpened and levels adjusted.

Wonderful picture! Great perspective, the road which is leading into the picture is well taken. Great how the rainbow is involved in this picture. Very nice green towards the dark clouds! Well seen! Regards Florian
