Photographer's Note
The River Etive in a rising condition after a day of heavy rain. The river can rise and fall at astonishing rates, the catchment is huge and the river flows freely into the sea loch a few miles downstream. Little pools turn into cauldrons and revert back very quickly. There are two people in this picture!
As usual I can't remember the settings. Must buy a notebook!

Good composition, but allthogh the bright day, I would try any way to get much longer exposure, so the water wouldn't freaze.

Hello dougie,
Nice picture. I recognize the very specific water colour of the highlands!. Nice POV with good depth of field.
IF YOU'VE FORGOTTEN THINGS PERHAPS IT'S BECAUSE YOU THEN AFTER TAKING THE PICTURE BEEN TASTING SOME OTHER LIQUIDS FROM THE HIGHLANDS!. (Don't pay attention to upper case, By mistake I've hitted the capslock and don't want to write every thing again!).
Kind regards
JMarc
