Photographer's Note

We were out sea kayaking and had paddled into the harbour. The fishermen had just come in with a catch of mackerel. They banged the side of the boat and 'Sammy' jumped up out of the water for an easy meal.

The seal is wild but has hung around the harbour for a while, there are a few seals in the bay & a couple followed us down the coast when we left.

No points, whats that all about!
All the time I have seen this grey seals is when the fishermen have wanted to shoot them. Here is a scene I much admire as the enemy has become a friend. Very unusual to see this in the wild. Excellant
