Robin, a photo from Lancashire, England

Photographer's Note

I've been full of a cold these last few days & today-feeling a little brighter-i set up my camera & tripod in my kitchen overlooking the garden & patiently waited with a cup of strong coffee for some wildlife to come & pose for a shot.
It took an hour or so, with only a couple of blackbirds & a ginger cat passing through the garden, until this little robin kindly came & sat for me.

Fine shot of a rather chubby looking Robin - could well be a youngster. Detail is really sharp & the composition is excellent. Your patience definitely paid off.

This is a most beautiful picture - and I think a difficult one. The surroundings of this little leading actor are truly wonderful and the whole composition is perfect. A great photo, Congrats!

Hi David, very nice image the Robin is nice and sharp with a good eye catch, love the texture of the branch, I might have been inclined to crop just a little tighter (persional choice) so I took the liberty of doing a workshop hope you dont mind but a great shot all the same, Cheers Rick :)

Very striking wildlife presentation with the robin seen in razor sharp detail. The perch he has chosen blends beautiful with his plumage and the whole scene is seen in very clear color and excellent sharpness. Well done TFS.
