Photographer's Note

As I mentioned on several occasions, Cyprus has it all: ancient archaeological sites, Byzantine architecture, wonderful nature etc. Here one more view of Kourion, one of the most interesting if not the most interesting archaeological site on the island. Greek/Roman amphitheatres are famous for their amazing acoustic and so while taking pictures around it I have witnessed several people testing it with their performances. In particular one old guy spend a while reciting something for his very young girlfriend. Here you see a mother accompanying her daughter while she was performing some English toddler songs. What is quite unique about this particular theatre is that it is located quite close to the sea. I have tried to show this aspect as I believe it is adding a lot of interest. By doing so however my composition options were quite limited.
