The magnificent main square in Esfahan, central Iran, in the second largest square in the world. Surrounded by mosques, bazar and historycal builings, has a huge pool with fountains in the middle.

Ciao Stefano
hai ritirato fuori queste belle foto dall'Iran...come mai solo ora? anche questa merita, ha una bella profondità, prospettiva e l'inclusione delle figure sulla sinistra mi piace molto.
Buona domenica

Hello Stefano,
Nice framing you found there. I like the deepnees put by the perspective effect of the water border and the opposition in size between the visitors in foreground and the mosquee in background.
It is really interesting to see Iran through your photos, not so much people are posting from there.
Yves.

Hi Stefano
This luminous image from Iran is very surprising. Maybe because, until now, you only presented us the narrow streets of Yazd, or the confined spaces of mosques. The sky seems to rush to the screen, with an electric response of the earth with this long pool. Excellent composition, with the line of the pool that directs our look to the entry of the mosque and the trio in which the child in bright colors between the dark silhouettes of the parents seems like a ponctuation... the fact that they are just situated on the line implicates the idea of their future. And the child become the symbol of the hope they can have in it, all together. Congratulations!
I wonder if when it is really hot, people do seat around the pool, legs in it? Or is it "ayip"?

Il grandangolo è la focale che stra-preferisco (come dice mio figlio), e tu la usi in maniera magistrale.

Hi Stefano,
Excellent composition and a very good series. The placement of the family is perfect and the pink and blue that reminds of an old agfa-slide are majestic.
regards, Gerrit

Hello Stefano
Great to see your photos of Iran which few of us will get to experience ourselves. An informative and clear photo with good lines and the family in the foreground well placed. If this is the 2nd largest square in the world - where is the largest - perhaps Tiananmen?
Cheers, Marlene
