Photographer's Note
Another shot of dessert at South Khorasan. As you may notice, in this picture, there are some shrubs growing nicely in this dry area.
There is an effort to re-grow vegetation thru an internationally-funded ecological activity called 'carbon sequestration project'. Some hallophytes (plants tolerant to high salinity condition) have been evaluated for its adaptability to this extreme ecosystem.

Very spectacular desert Benyamin! Truly a unique place. I like the perspective used to shoot this picture. Very good colours. The picture is a little too sharpened I think but otherwise is an excellent shot. The note attached is also very interesting. Nice job :-)

Hi Benyamin,
The symmetrical foreground looks like it could have been an Asian crop circle. Good to know about the govt effort to re-grow vegetation in the area. This is a very lovely composition with beautiful sky, good vista of hills from a distance, and the presence of many engaging elements. Best wishes.

Hi Benyamin,
Despite the large portion of rather empty foreground, the shot really works, partly because of the grooves and lines in the earth and the golden tufts of grass strewn by nature here and there. The desolate desert is well appreciated, though the dark green shrubs indicate that life still subsists. Your note is apropos. Well captured...later.

Ben:
Your information on the desert at South Khorasan is really impressive, trying to recouperate an area that is in such conditions is a really titanic task. I wish that IRAN succeds with this project. The Photo shows the contrast between the shrubs and what is been accomplished, a good POV.
TFS all the prior information

Hi Benyamin.
This is a beautiful view.
Very nice sharpness and depth.
Very different looking dessert than what I am used to seeing.
I hope all work out in this beautiful area.
Take care.

Hello Benyamin,
first thing, I think it is really great that the government gets involved in the environment. I hope that it will give nice results.
You show it to us in a nice way. you placed all the element in an harmonious way, which is cool. There is a technical problem with the picture though. It may lack resolution, which I doubt since it weighs 196kb. I think the picture has been sharpened too much. OOOOrrr, it is my screen, which can really be the case:D
I wish you a nice day!

I wonder, are these food-bearing shrubs? Interesting dark dirt... different from American desert scenes.
