Photographer's Note
Traditional houses at South Khorasan dessert is simple, made of sun-dried brick and clay mixed with straws of grasses or cultivated grain crops. Dome-shape clay roof and minimal window (both in number and size). Built in a cluster.
I did not crop or clone out the aerial electrical wire [some of you may do not like to see the wires, from aesthetic point of view], for informative reason, they are already have electricity as source of household energy.

On the one hand, the house doesn't really look like much, on the other hand, the guy probably doesn't have a 30-year mortgage either. It's interesting all the various shapes and forms life takes.

A photo telling a story of a community, a life style, displaying what we are not used to see everyday. Superb!

Greetings Benyamin.
Although I dont think that I have any photos that have power lines in them right now, I wouldn't crop them out. They are part of the scene, you have to make them work for you. That said, this is a wonderful capture of such a primitive house, with such updated appliances. Good mellow colors, with the blue door to the right adding a nice contrast.
Regards,
Chris

This is very interesting. The houses look more like a clay oven. I would like to know how hot are them inside. Certainly, it is a different life style.

Hi Benyamin!
Nice photo. I guess I had never seen such houses. About the wires, they may not be nice to see, but they are part of the scene, so why take them out?

Hi Ben,
I find this extremely interesting. Would not have imagined a traditional house from Iran looking like that. Where are the windows though?

wonderful "architectural" shot, ben! :-)
good to see something different for once that is not a glass
palace from the west, reminds me of the indian houses i saw
in the US once.
i wonder how it looks from the inside.
well done & take care, thorsten.
