Photographer's Note

Dasht-e Kavir also known as Kavir-e Namak or Great Salt Desert is a large desert laying in the
middle of the Iranian Plateau.
It is about 800 km long and 320 km wide.
The desert is partitioned between the Iranian provinces of Khorasan, Semnan, Tehran, Esfahan and
Yazd.

The Dasht-e Kavir's climate is almost rainless and the area is very arid.Temperatures can reach 50 蚓 in summer, and the average temperature in January is 22 蚓. Day and night temperatures during a year can differ
up to 70 蚓. Rain usually falls in winter.

The desert soil is covered with sand and pebbles; there are marshes,lakes and wadis. The hot temperatures cause extreme vaporization, which
leaves the marshes and mud grounds with large crusts of salt.
Heavy storms frequently occur and they can cause sand hills reaching up to 40 m in altitude.Some parts of Dasht- e Kavir have a more steppe-like appearance.

This is my favourite kind of landscape, sandy, arid and desolate. The sky and the threatning clouds announcing an approaching storm are awesome and dramatic. The colours and the light are very nice. Well done!

Hello Mohammad,
Beautiful contrast between the desert and the dark grey sky.I like the special lightmood here a lot,the green bushes are good focussing points for the eyes to rest on.

Awesome shot. The composition is rather minimalistic and extremely simple. Thanks to that one can concentrate attention on a beautifuel contrast between gloomy sky and golden(well maybe not so goldem:)sand. Due to this little bush photo gains some additional ambiance. Well done!

This is also a decisive moment picture shot that you took so nicely in a special light atmosphere moment of the day with a great eye catch and composition in a earth/water scenery with the sky as the God Teacher. Your note guidelines are a must and your post is a SUPBERB simple frame with the main most important elements in life. First the water next earth for creating bodies, feeding and mutation on the next cycle.

Good perspective and enquadrement scenery view. The title fits well with this beautiful clear post. The light, shadows and colors are a must here, also the sharpness quality.

Very well seen, clear picture and a true surprinsing post in a complementary both approach from us of nature, with manny Kilometers of distance. IT'S humain feeling whithin the global diversity, but for others they must put glasses in their Eyes.

Such sombre and dark impression you have here. A scene such as this, where the weather condition is the main actor, with the two sagebrushes, the master of ceremony. Seeing the obvious nature of earth and heaven, we realised we are in between these two elements. We sometimes forget, where we are. Thank you Mohammad.
