Train Station II, a photo from Tel Aviv, Tel Aviv

Photographer's Note

Another shot from the train station in Tel Aviv. I like the different poses of the people waiting on the platform! This station is in renovation works and they installed this metal wall just beyond the platform, so i used it as a background for this night shot.
Having to shoot without the tripod, I sat on a bench and placed the camera on my lap (yes, I didn㦙 see the result until I took the picture) and took 1 shot just to fix the direction and this was the second shot.

As usual, critiques are welcomed.

Tech: Converted from RAW using PS, adjusted bri/con, cropped some of the black top part, rotate a bit, and USM.
Exposure: 1/15 sec, f3.5 @ ISO 800

Clear composition, I like it veru much. Many horizontal lines. I like the first and four person seem to be in the same moment of walk but reversed.

Great shot, Im always a fan of trainstation shots.

You are correct about the different poses, you can almost make a different story out of each person and their eagerness to get on the train.

I like the composition of this shot. Each person telling their own story. The people add a nice contrast to the lovely horizontal lines. The inclusion of the 'mind the gap' warning sign adds a great element i think. It can mean so many different things (apart from the obvious) and can be linked to the gap between the people perhaps?

I really appreciate this - I love to take photos in train stations and like you love the difference in poses that people take - sometimes 'dancing' wih and around each other, sometimes in splendid isolation.

For the way you took this picture it came out very nice Amir. The picture depicts the daily life. looks like more people read there! I see 2 of the 4 reading a book. :-)
