Photographer's Note
More than the colorful backdrop of Jordanian flags, the megalithic structures in the fg of the Jordan Museum (not to be confused with the National Archaeological Museum of Jordan on the Citadel) caught my eye here. They reminded me of the houses in Bedrock, the fictitious town in the Flintstones cartoons, with Fred & Wilma & date from 3600-3000 BC. The old bg train wagon, the mosque and the city hugging the hillside added further interesting layers.

The dolmens depicted here have been re-sited to the museum grounds from the Damiyah dolmen field.

Hello Chris,
Found an interesting spot to show this part of the city with diff. objects, contrast of times, subjects and colors.
Nicely allocated all the items across the picture space.
Have a nice new week,
Ike

Hello Chris,
A great photo of this town with modern buildings in the background and the ancient structures in the foreground. The flags are also well included, just as the bluish dome in the centre. The sunlight was most appealing.

Hello Chris,
I don't think I saw this museum. I should have remembered the Bedrock dwellings. You managed to combine a lot of interesting and fine details in this photo, and it's perfectly exposed too.
Best wishes,
Gert

Chris, Amman authorities had the good idea to highlight and integrate these neolithic structures in the town. The mosque and the apartment blocks built on the hill form a nice background. The Jordanian flags add vivid colors to the picture. Fine colors, good sharpness, regards.

Bonjour Chris,
Les drapeaux attirent le regard. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails des dolmens de la Mosquée et des immeubles. La lumière fait ressortir les couleurs. Bonne journée.

Hi Chris
Thanks for bringing my childhood memories back - not that I travelled to the Middle East at the time but loved watching the Flintstones and it was always a great joy to hear Fred shout "Wilma!". :-)
The flags do add interest though and I like the way they are all shaped by the blowing wind, as if they were direction signs pointing to something outside of the frame to the right.
Best wishes
Kasia
