fantastic portrait, her posture creates beautiful lines that lead the viewers eye from her face down to her hand. love the textures, and how the dark clothes frame her face. excellent timing, great shot.

Hi Figen, very well lighted portrait saying a lot about the tradition. The message on the head band and the bowl in her hand also makes it very interesting. Thanks for sharing...Alex

Hello Figen,
This is also a fine portrait, and a rather unusual one. The girl's almost white face is nicely counteracting with the bowl she is holding. There is a beautiful texture of her clothes and especially the lace. The light is superb and I love the fine nuances of black and white.

Superb once again...I always like the tones you bring out in PP. Like how the viewer makes the connection between the bowl she holds and her downcast eyes. What does Zeynep mean?

The most balanced portrait i have seen in a long time Figen..this is seriously good work..the light on the face leads us to the silver bowl is it ? - the shadows are in the right places to strengthen the shot..

A noisy image in difficult light but nonetheless special for all of that - the deep contrast yet retention of detail supports this image full of subtlety alongside its boldness - a moment of gentle feeling. You are such an accomplished conveyor of emotion - a great skill which is beyond the camera.
