Photographer's Note

A doctor of the US took a shot of me with his tele. At the end of the trip on the Bosphorus he called me to the stern of the ship to see the red sun going down behind the Aya Sophia.

This happened some 39 years ago, when Turkish people called me ichebaba for the long beard I had at my young age, ... a nice encounter with a sensitive person engraved in my mind by the red sun.

Reason to recall this memory by the sun going under behind the Sleymaniye Camii, seen from 鈤kdar, the place where I got my first tesbih (Muslim rosary) that I was wearing for many years around my neck.
