Dubai Creek, a photo from Dubai, West

Photographer's Note

The creek divides Dubai into two parts - Deira Dubai and Bur Dubai. This creek is 14 Kms long and has played a major role in the economic development achieved by Dubai. Dubai's trade development was attributed to the creek.

Here you can see imposing structures along the creek if viewed from Bur Dubai Side.

I have saturated the colours using curves and sharpen some of the area of the picture. Cropped it to maintain balance.

Hi Rocky,
Very nice view of the city skyline, where we can see very well how modern it is, you selected here thee right shooting time to allow vieing details together with the illuminations. I tried a small WS.

AMAZING SHOT!!! No wonder! You're using a D70. The clarity of this image does these buildings justice. A perfect postcard photo.

A very nice capture of this modern looking waterfront - the money speaks! Of all the places in the world the upward growth of Arab economies and the resultant growth into the sky of their buildings is a cultural shift which is an amazing development when you consider the past. The degree of style, attention to detail and opulence and spaciousness of many of these buildings is mind blowing.

Such interesting shapes - a very creative skyline.

It was the right moment for take this shot and you captured it perfect. The light is wonderful. The blue sky contrast perfect with the starting lights on the buildings. The unique things you could improve is to correct the horizon line and don't place it on the center of image.
