Hello Paddy rags, i found this building one of the most impressive one of the world. I've seen diferent programs about the construction at Dyscovery and i don't stop getting amazed! Of course the Palmislands and Worldislands are also amazing. But this is so beutiful. You had difficult conditions to take this photo buti love the composition and maybe you can get it cleaner with some PP work. Keep on posting and thaks for sharing it.

Hello Paddy,
Maybe the most photographed building in the world, but also one of the most beautiful as architecture, a little bit extreme but wonderful.
Of course his the Palm islands and World islands also amazing and built throogh my fellow countrymen firm De Nul from Belgium.
The picture Mister Paddy, I know your camera not, but this type of picture have to with more ISO than 50 taken, 200 to 400, also more than 64Kb as result, max 200, therefore get you to much grain in the sky.Neat Image is a very good tool for grain to remove out of the sky. I hope that you appreciate this small remark, I want alone help you for make better pictures
I find your composition very well, and absolutely the wonderful building as subject.
Very well done.
Warmest regards,
John.

Not really convinced by the wide frame, but except that, the pov and the misty mood are excellent and makes it simply unreal. Well seen.

Hi Mr Paddy!
I like this way of describing this famous building, sunken in the mist!
I tried to manage your picture in a WS, I hope you like it, focusing on it cutting the space in its sides.
And I agree with jhm about ISO - but also the file should be greater.
I used the same camera, Nikon 8800: tell me why it doesn't work well enough!
Anyway, it is a beautiful picture! Compliments!!

Thanks for sharing.
When I was there, the building was under construction.
I looked at it in a boat and found it is so specific.
At that time, I did not know it will be a famous hotel.
Anyway, the most impressive of Dubai is the pretty buildings with good design along streets. You can find every building have there own characteristics.
