Photographer's Note
An early, snowy winter allowed me to take this year's Christmas shot for family and friends way back in mid-November. Now I've posted it here, with belated holiday wishes to our TE community.
It was shortly after dawn and I was rounding a bend on my 100 km back-road commute to work. I was greeted with this scene, worthy of stopping the car in a particularly hazardous spot in order to capture it. Most of all, I liked the combination of the hoar frost on the shrubs and the light catching the tree on the right.
For those familiar with the region: that's the Seguin River, somewhere east of Orrville.

Hello Kai,
Happy Christmas to you. This image has a wonderful peaceful mood to it and the composition is excellent. The panaramic format works extremely well by including many snow covered fir trees. You're right, the true attraction in the photo is the slight warm light on the right side tree and the frost covered shrubs. Well seen and well captured.
Cheers Grant
