Photographer's Note

The Forillon National Park is a marvelous place. It has breathtaking ocean-front landscapes, a spectacular fauna and interesting interpretive museums. There, we learn that an important industry once existed, based on the cod fishery. As usual, humans overexploited the natural resources. Cods disappeared and stocks never replenished despite a full moratory imposed for tenth of years now. A lesson that doesn't seem to have been learned, unfortunately...
