Beetle on the fly, a photo from Quebec, Central

Photographer's Note

At the time of a pic-nic at the top of the chair-lift #2 of the Mount-Sutton, several insects hid through long grasses. This beetle was on the point of taking off when I photographed it. I took 3 photographs in burst to arrive at this result. 14:25h.

Il faut faire vite car le vol n'attend pas , c'est un coup de chance et difficile � effectuer et l'insecte bouge, il y a du vent. Pas le temps de cadrer et hop Clic !
Avec tout ceci, vous avez r徼ssi � capter la nettet� du corps de l'insecte avec une sensation du mouvement des ailes. L'嶰lairage en semi contre jour donne du relief au sujet.

Wow, mon insecte pr嶨廨�, quelle prise de vue! On dirait m瘱e un effect autour des ailes en mouvement. Tr鋊 belles couleurs et excellente qualit�! On peut m瘱e voir son corps sous ses ailes. Bravo!

Great shot! Nice sharp distinction of the wing. Short of catching his front legs just launching you couldn't have had better timing!

A bit difficult I think, but still an amazing capture!
Lovely colours & lighting, and nice focus on the transparancy of the wing.

Great macro shot. I like you were able to capture a taking-off bug. I guess this bug is one type of beneficial insect (Coccinellidae) which has a role for biological control due to predatory habit to other insect pests. Forgive me if I am wrong.
