Quite unusual colors Frederic but I must say that the result is excellent. Well done!

I love how the glaring whiteness of the snow seeps into the white frame you use inside the wider dark brown ? frame. My first experience of Montreal was in mid-January one year, my plane landing from London. It was about 10 below zero, Fahrenheit. I left soon after landing, arriving in Chicago at 20 below zero, and my home in Minneapolis at almost 30 below zero. Your photo reminds me of home... :-(((
But I left Minnesota years ago, and can look upon this scene and smile. It is a chilly day in San Francisco Bay Area with overcast skies and a temperature of 58 degrees. I don't miss shoveling show one bit... ;-)
The blown out quality of the image works really well with the scene you give us. You make no mention of a tripod, which I find remarkable considering the exposure settings listed. You did well in capture and present the image very well. Fine work Frederic. STAY WARM!

Great image, the colours look fantastic, very ordinary subject but you have captured it very well! I particulary like the framing, the white which forms the border and blends into the snow is fatastic, great work!
