Photographer's Note

Today,Sunday,I went to Montreal and was surprised to see the city in a state of siege after the snowstorm of last friday who dumped 45 cm. of the white powder.
Here you see a typical street with cars still unsnowed, others parked at 45o angle to the sidewalk because they could only back in a hole left by the previous car.Circulation was going at a crawl.
Obviously the main streets are cleared first and were easier to navigate than this side street.
Meanwhile,in my village, everything was cleared by saturday. SMALL IS BEAUTIFUL.
