Photographer's Note
The hillsides surrounding Montmorency falls just north of Quebec City, tower over the St. Lawrence river offering great views. A wooden stairway has been built to offer visitors the chance to climb to a high viewpoint to see the Falls and the river and mountain views. Needless to say, I didn't get any closer than this! Actually the Falls are more impressive from the bottom.

Hello.
Impressive view on this stairway. Nevertheless, I must admit that I think it makes a not so beautiful mark in the landscape. But if it's the only way for most people to reach the POV on the site...
Anyway an interesting document.
Thanks for sharing !

Hi Joan.
I know well this place, and I like the way you framed it. Your composition is nice, maybe a bit oversharpen, but well done in general.

Hi Joan, a spectacular capture of this staired mountain ridge. I love the way the stairs works as a device strengthening the perspective and also the sheer graphical appeal of it. Great elementery compo.
Have a nice weekend.

Wow Joan, you have not been around for a long time! Welcome back!
Impressive view over this mounatin, Joan, but ireally hoped you got alittel bit further than this, the excuse that they are more impressive at the bottom, hmmm, I don't know, I hope you will show that to us then ;-)
It reminds me a bit of the American side of the Niagara, although I have never been on that side, they have to build a whole structure to see their own falls.
