It was the june 8 2004 and it was for me the day my first post on TE �
Today, 10 years later, I post another photo about this wonderful iceberg , so lovely with this blue ice.
After 10 years on TE, I like always posted photos about my travels and my country and I like also see your photos, dear friendly TE members.

Hi Jean,
10 years, congratulations. For me, its been a pleasure sharing your cool photo work here on this site. Though a much newer member here, I have learned a lot from yours and others posts, so thank you for your dedication to sharing.
This beautiful big icey scene is a fantastic scene to post to celebrate too, it could almost be a big iced celebration cake :) The colors of the ice are really stunning, hard to imagine until you actually see a scene like this.

Evidently the ice is blue - only we see it as white, fantastic nature's phenomenon collected superbly, and well applied.

Attractive vertical of the ice in varying lines, and the saturated blue tone a bonus.
Canada is certainly a gem waiting to be explored further.

And hopefully the Sand Tar Oil project will be dropped, because it will destroy the environment forever the size of the U.S.'s state of Florida.

Ten years on TE is a wonderful achievement - congratulations. This is an excellent photograph taken 10 years ago. The blue/green colour in the sparkling ice is magical.

Belle capture. S'il n'y avait pas votre commentaire on aurait cru que le c矌� bleu 彋ait du � des retouches.
Ce mixte du ciel bleu, de neige et de glace chapeau.
Je suppose qu'entre ces dix la banquise a du fondre.
Pour donner une pointe d'humour, il manque du sucre car on pourrait croire que ce sont des blancs en neige.

C'est tout un bail ces dix ans. Mais je constate que pour toi, c'est toujours le m瘱e plaisir. Pas surprenant que tu te retrouves dans la premi鋨e page des plus populaires, surtout avec ce genre de photo.. En esp廨ant que cette masse de glace soit encore de la m瘱e dimension aujourd'hui.

Jean, congratulations - 10 years is a long time. This is a beautiful shot; besides the colors, I love the weird shapes of the ice. It almost looks like a meringue topping for a pie. Great sharpness and crop. Thanks.

Hi Jean,
That blue ice has such a special colour it's hard to imagine it on any other substance. Snow shapes show wery well on that contrasty light. Scale of this view is much harder to guess.
Congratulations! Ten years is a long time on any website, and respectable achievement.

personally, I find photographing such white subjects very very very difficult.

good on you to be able to get the 'white' so well, as it often turns grey in photos.

love the splash of blue to spice it up a bit too.

Double Wow!... Wow! Pour les dix ans, et wow! pour cette photo saisissante.

Je lis bien qu'il s'agit d'un iceberg, mais 蓷 ressemble � une pierre pr嶰ieuse, comme une aigue-marine tout doit sortie d'un banc de neige. J'aime bien l'aspect vierge et sauvage de la sc鋝e, de m瘱e que la texture de la neige bien d彋aill嶪, avec ses ondulations bien restitu嶪s.
