Early july, I went on vacation in the rockies and saw many wonderful landscapes. What a spectacular place it is ! I did several hikes in only 10 days, thanks to a good timing and a very nice weather.
Here is a classical view for a first picture of this trip.
I didn't touch anything, not even croped it.

Hi Oli!

very nice photo. i like the pov and the 'framing' of the shot with the help of the branches. I just wonder how this would look like if you add more contrast and saturate the colors. TFS

Very cool feeling picture. Nice point of view, nice composure, nice colors and details. A little color adjustments would make this an awesome picture.

Hi Oli,
Yes, this is really a beautiful place and even though it's been posted dozens of times on TE, it's always a pleasure to see this view. I like the soft light on the mountains and the mist in the bakcground, but I feel your picture lacks a bit of contrast so I did a WS. Hope you like it.

Excellent POV. This is a wonderful place. In this hot Indian summer, this seems so refreshing. Greatr colours. Nice idea to include those branches at the top, creates a nice effect.

There are now about 30 pictures of Peyto Lake on TrekEarth all from a relatively similar vantage point, but I like the creative framing on this picture. Other folks had bluer clearer skies and even more turquoise than what you were able to catch on this misty day, but this is a fine composition given the circumstances.

fantastic framing, unbelievable colors of the water. Wish I could see some like this. To the best I know most lakes with this kind of beautifully colored water are in Canada. Great picture.
