Spring on the Shushwap River, a photo from British Columbia, Western

Photographer's Note

This April we are getting lots of those spring days, where the weather is unstable, but sunny....great weather for pictures, with all the wonderful clouds. The Shushwap River, is one of the larger rivers here in the Okanagan, and in another month will probably be close to bursting its banks. In August, it is a great river for canoeing, once the water is back down again!

Hi Steve
We are having wonderful sun here in Switzerland too. The lighting here really makes this shot shine, with this nice puffy clouds and the reflections on the water most attractive. A lovely seasonal capture.

Great shot of this beautiful area! I love the view over the river which reflects the trees and clouds. The sky above makes the shot complete. Excellent POV with great colours, lighting and details! Well done Steve!

PS: We drive by this area every summer on our way to Mara Lake where we stay for a week. So, we are frequent visitors to Enderby during that week..hehe, lovely place!

Hallo Steve!
This picture has a wonderful springlike atmosphere, one even can see a bit green in the branches of some trees (birches?). The light in this photo is great and I like especially these impressive clouds in the sky! A really beautiful view!
