absolutely a good stuff - an example of what man can do in photography having "an eye" for it; a good study on sand, marc

Hello Marc...
Very nice, I particularly like these lines in the sand, and with that stone right placed it's just perfect.
I like Zepi workshop, but I have tried something else, same cropping, also B&W, but blue stone. Hope you like it...
A12C4, see you

Hi Marc,
I like the graphism and the perfect creation of nature. It is rich with textures and shapes, naural lines, and as a nice decoration - the small rock. BEautiful.

I like the sand pattern and how your sharply captured it. Did you manually place the rock nearby, it seems the finger mark is showing surrounding the pebble. In any case i dont mind at all, this is an excellent catch. Well done! :)

I respond as Yitzhak did to the graphism of the image. This is very fine to my eye. I might have added a bit of contrast to intensify some of the lines within the composition, but such decisions are very personal. I know that when I began I was shocked by how much contrast Yitzhak added to my images when he did workshops. Since then I've learned there is nothing wrong with producing bold images, so long as the colors and details don't become artificial looking. Play with contrast a bit and see whether you like the result.
Welcome to TE Marc! And have fun. There are many wonderful folks here with whom to share this adventure.

Such a lovely composition, I like very much the pattern left by the waves.
And your image seems especially interesting as I took some shots on the [North Sea] beach last week and now I'm discovering how attractive B&W can be on such texture as sand or wood... So I imagine that B&W would have suit your image too, like Sebastien's version but lighter maybe?
Anyway, very well observed and executed Marc!

Belle image, l'originalité du coup d'oeil m'interpelle. J'aime d'abord ce camaïeu de gris, puis le dessin que le vent a gravé enfin pour finir le grain du sable. Superbe amicalement/jr

Nice repetition of shapes. The texture in the sand is really nice to look at. The light falls very well on the lines of the sand. Good pic!
