Photographer's Note

A great place to camp, in the wilderness. This is a beach on Azure Lake in Wells Gray Park. Accessible by boat only. The beach is long and sandy, and the water is very clear.

On a still afternoon the scenery reflects in the glacier fed lake. All around you can hear nature's activity. The birds, fish, other wildlife moving through the trees behind you, makes for a magical place.

Notice the strips of cleared land on top of the mountain. Those are caused by snow avalanches.
