Photographer's Note
This tree has grown almost horizontal and branches one and is quite old. It provided a nice silhouette for this morning autumn scene at Bark lake, north of Montreal. The morning haze is typical at this time of the year caused by mist which is soon dissipated by the sun. A haze often persists throughout the day as trees emit what is known as terpenes - they actually pollute the atmosphere!
