Taken on the shores of Lake Winnipeg in Gimli. The beach was quite empty; which is not surprising because it wasn't a hot, sunny day.

Well Myrna what I like about this photo is the shovel is located in balance with the wave in this frame. Simple and yet effective. The only suggestion for improvement would be to change your angle viewpoint by getting down low on the ground and shooting the shovel from ground level. That might make the photo a little more interesting. Cheers and welcome to TE!
