Talk about being influenced by pop culture. Each and every time I wander down into the village of Lund that tune, 'Under the Boardwalk, I'm having fun...'jingles back into my head. Oh well, it's an uplifting ring and I do have fun in Lund.
The truer nature of road culture here is that this is the end of a road. A Pacific coastal road called Hwy#101, in Canada and Route#1 or #1a in the USofA. A bit more bumpy as it enters Latin America and with a major interruption in the Darian Gap, though I've been told by travellers that there are a few vicious signs there too!It continues on down the South American coast to P皾to Monte, Chile with various names but usually #1 is highlighted.
