Photographer's Note

A slightly different view while at the Columbia Glacier. This is one of the surrounding ranges.
I like the contrast of the bright snowy cliffs to the darker cliffs in front of it. I'm not sure the name of the mountain or range- so if anyone happens to have more info- it would be much appreciated!

Yes, I do like the shot!
Like you, I think the contrast between the two cliffs 'grabs the eyes'! I like how the light outlines the craggy surface of the rocks.

Very beautiful and dramatic. Great sharpness and clarity. Good composition. It's great to study the pic and see how the snow piles up on the ridge and tumbles down the valleys on the side. What an awesome place to visit. Good job. Well done.

Excellent color and contrast. The long telephoto isolates the peaks nicely, giving us a view that we would only get with a pair of binoculars.

I can see how you enjoyed your zoom lens in capturing these mountain peaks Dan. The range of tones from dark to light in this setting is wonderfully balanced in this frame. Good work Daniel.

I do like this shot!
The contrast between the cliffs is great, indeed. The shadows are so beautiful on the slopes. The image looks like a B&W but these are the real colours. I like very much that wild and impressive nature.
The exposure is very well done with fine details. Thank you very much for sharing.

Beautiful view of the NW summit of Mount Andromeda (3450 m), with a few of the climbing routes clearly visible, especially the well-known Skyladder arching left onto the steep snow slope on the right side. Not the ideal sky for mountain photography, but great light, emphasizing the texture of the mountain.
