Work on sea-ice, a photo from Yukon, Northern

Photographer's Note

A group of scientists are working on a partial frozen sea-ice somewhere on the Chukchi Sea, Arctic Ocean. The foggy weather and the low light condition accentuate the "end-of-the-world" atmosphere.

Un groupe de scientifiques travaillent sur la banquise fondante quelque part dans la Mer des Tchouktches, Oc嶧n Arctique. Le brouillard et la lumi鋨e cr廧usculaire donne � cette image une atmosph鋨e de "fin-du-monde".

Hi Antoine;

An interesting scene from the far north- one that although Canadian- I doubt I'll ever see.
I've posted a workshop with some suggestions for the shot. Some levels adjustment to boost some of the highlights along with some other minor suggestions.

Antoine I have to say congrats to you on this fine posting. I do hope the scientists are keeping warm enough. The mood does look sombre and cold. Nice capture and thanks for sharing!
