Photographer's Note

The Petit Champlain street, a pedestrian street,were some artisanal and commercial shop invite tourist all year round to by some souvenir of our beautifull city.Was taken after a 40cm snowstorm the pedestrian path are still there and lightening of each store glow on the fresh snow on the ground.It seem to be in the old past time when each store owners have to clear the path in front of their store.

Lovely shot Alain;

This photo really makes me homesick (although I was back in Canada only in December!).

A beautiful Christmas scene. Good composition to compliment the scene, good exposure with nothing over/ under exposed. And the sharpness is spot on.

This looks like a scene out of a storybook. I like the contrasting colors - the blue sky and the yellow/orange lights. It adds nicely to the composition! Thanks for sharing!

Hi Alain,
Twilight is perfect time to capture this narrow old street that's been attacked by snowstorm. Signs and decoration lights have now got extra beauty. This really winter wonderland feeling.

Salut Alain,

Quebec City has a very special charm with its old architecture and narrow alleys and streets. The lights glowing on the fresh snow is very nice and characteristic of winter scenes in Canada. Very nice view of this place. Thanks for sharing.

Wow, that's a snowstorm! This year here in Trieste not even one millimeter :'-( Nice composition, like the person staring at the shop windows. It lacks some sharpness, IMHO.

Hello Alain.
Beautiful view of this little street with the Christmas lights and the snow giving it a winter feeling which I like a lot.
The guy closer to us watching the insde of the store reminds me some Christmas movies where the most unfortunate look towards the warm insides while they are left out at the streets.
