This is a good capture of the action, but unfortunately, you have a poor background for the shot. Your friend is in the shade, but the playground/school in the background is very bright, causing your friend to be underexposed. The great thing about this is, he is your friend, so you can get him out again and shoot against a better background. I have the same camera, and have taken some shots of skaters, if the conditions and lighting are ok, it can do well.

Nice action shot Alonso. I'm wondering if he completed the trick.

I have to agree with Darren though. If you can play the light to your advantage, I suspect you have the talent to make a remarkable image.

Cool action shot. I agree with Darren, a better background would be a major improvement. If your going to screw around with it, a dramatic evening sky with a mild fill in flash might be fun.

I have to laugh a little at this shot, I haven't skated seriously for about a decade and I think that I could pose this shot. I would throw my board in the air and then jump slightly above it and then bam the shot. Great job capturing the action.

nice friend shot but i don't know if you read about the TE regulation regarding about the posting of photo...but i like the action shot.

Great action captured here. I find the background a bit busy for the subject though. Your timing was perfect for this shot, and for this part you have done very well.
