MUSIC IN MEXICO is very important. Most restaurants have live music at least some time during the day. Also on bus rides (though not in first class) you sometimes have musicians hopping on and off to sing a handful of tunes and collect some money.

These two musicians are roaming the streets of downtown Oaxaca, from restaurant to restaurant, looking for a good place to play.

OAXACA is one of the largest cities in southern Mexico. It relies heavily on tourism, both Mexican and international, but it's still a great place to hang around for a couple of days. Plus there are some really rewarding trips to be made in the surrounding valleys.

a very classical view of the street. how i like the epople with accordian and the volkswagen on the other side.
Excellent subjects portrayed to show the culture and the way people live there. Your BW gives an excellent retrospective feeling.

Hi Benny,
This is like an old small town scene taken on an old camera (like a Leica), it has a simplicity, and even this simplicity has it's decisive moment, the three amigo's near us make the scene. (and I see a VW beetle in there too!)
