Photographer's Note
I made this shot at the "Ba隳s de la Reina" (the baths of teh Queen) in the archeaological complex of Palenque. I liked the way the sunstroke waterfalls look in midst of the shadows of the jungle.
The Palenque archaeological zone is situated 8 km from Palenque city in the State of Chiapas, Mexico. It is a medium-sized site, much smaller than such huge sites as Tikal or Cop嫕, but it contains some of the finest architecture, sculpture, and bas-relief carvings the Maya produced.
Unfortunately, I didn't have that much memory space so I had to use the smallest picture format (640 x 480). I sharpened and added a frame.

Nice shot of this waterfall - the sense of power and movement is very evident. I like the contrast between the dark trees and the light coloured water. The trees act like a kind of frame to show the waterfall better. Well done!

Yvonne,
Very nice composition. The angle of the cascades looks very natural. Well done.

I esp. like the light management here, Yvonne. The combination of green and white water is excellent too. Well done! Regards, Daniel
