Anti mosquito action, a photo from Serbia, North

Photographer's Note

This is the old part of Belgrade, the ugly part, seen from the river Sava. I'm not sure how old those buildings are but they definitely need to be reconstructed.
The plane you can see was spraying the mosquitoes. There were few of them flying very low. They're spraying against the mosquitoes a few times during the summer but I never really noticed how old those planes are!

There's a lot to see on this picture. A very busy part of Belgrade. Your timing was perfect: you got the plane between the dome and that big building. Well done.
PS: I didn't know there were that many mosquitoes in such a big city.

Spraying for mosquitos? It's the first time I see a thing like this! Anyway, it's a great and very interesting photo, and you know what? I don't think that this part of Belgrade, that I see in your photo, is that ugly. I see some interesting architecture there! Great light managment! Congratulations!

Volim kad Beograd vidim na jedan drugaciji nacin nego sto ga vidjam inace.Ne bih se slozio da je to ruzan deo Bg-a koji se vidi sa Save.

Hi Snezana, I like this unusual view of Belgrade (at first glance, on the thumbnail, I thought it was Istanbul's Golden Horn). You've caught the energy and bustling action of the place in the movement of plane, boats and cars on the bridge. Good work!

Hi Snezana,

nice photo, though it shold be reconstructed, I don't think that part of Belgrade is ugly.
As regards the plane, it seems as AN-2, plane is still in use in many countries, parachuters use it too.

Ovo bih voleo da sam ja snimio. Trudio sam se vi塄 puta kada god se napadnu komarci domaćom avijacijom. Ali nisam ubedljiv kao ti. Sve pohvale.
