Abbazia di Westminster formalmente "Collegiata di San Pietro in Westminster" � una grande chiesa gotica, si trova a Westminster Londra a ovest del palazzo di Westminster, sede del parlamento. E' una delle pi� famose costruzioni religiose nel Regno Unito.
Sede delle incoronazioni dei sovrani d'Inghilterra e luogo di sepoltura di personaggi importanti.
L'abbazia fu costruita tra il 1045 e il 1050 da re Edoardo il Confessore.

Westminster Abbey - London
Westminster Abbey, formally titled "Collegiate Church of St. Peter at Westminster", is a large, mainly Gothic Church in the City of Westminster, London, located just to the west of the Palace of Westminster, the Parliament.
It is one of the most notable religious buildings in the United Kingdom and has been the traditional place of coronation and burial site for English and, later, British monarchs.
Westminster Abbey was built between 1045 and 1050 by Kind Edward the Confessor.

proprio oggi ho visto un documentario dove dicevano che questa famosa chiesa (e non solo questa costruzione) � stata costruita su quello che una volta era il letto del Tamigi.
Ottimo pov e interessante cielo, anche se la luce non ti � stata amica.
