Morning in Seefeld.

Seefeld in Tirol is an old farming village, now a major tourist resort, in Innsbruck-Land District in the Austrian state of Tyrol. The village is located about 17 km northwest of Innsbruck on a plateau between the Wetterstein mountains and the Karwendel on an historic road from Mittenwald to Innsbruck that has been important since the Middle Ages. It was first mentioned in 1022 and since the 14th century has been a pilgrimage site, benefiting not only from the visit of numerous pilgrims but also from its stacking rights as a trading station between Augsburg and the Venice. Also since the 14th century, Tyrolean shale oil has been extracted in the area. Seefeld was a popular holiday resort even before 1900 and, since the 1930s, has been one a well known winter sports centres and amongst the most popular tourist resorts in Austria. The municipality, which has been the venue for several Winter Olympics Games, is the home village of Anton Seelos, the inventor of the parallel turn.

With more than one million overnight stays each year, it is one of the most popular Tyrolean tourist destinations especially for skiing in winter, but also for walking holidays in the summer.

Another delightful Tyrolean landscape that looks as if it has been captured early on in the day. The panoramic frame is an excellent choice. I like very much the lights and colours. Also, that beautiful sky with its streaky clouds. I wish you a pleasant weekend.

Hello Krzysztof,
The warm, gentle morning light, that gives its first warm glow of the day to the mountains and the friendly clouds is very nice, especially contrasted with the still shaded, but lovely green foreground. Well captured, and nicely framed by the trees.

Effectivement le paysage est de toute beaut�. J'aime beaucoup cette lumi鋨e en diagonale sur la montagne ainsi que sur les nuages. Beau point de vue bas qui donne de la profondeur � l'ensemble.

Hello my friend, lovely image here. I can feel juust a little bit of hdr pp here. Good quality of the shot, great details. I like it. I have to be honest with you, i'd walk barefoot on the grass there.

I love this light diagonally across the mountains and the clouds. Beau low perspective that gives depth to the whole.
