Photographer's Note

I note today that I have some photos of two metallic structures one from New York and other from Chicago and both appeared together in my photo files. So I will upload one photo today and the other tomorrow.

Here you can see the SeaGlass Carousel. This Carousel is placed in Battery Park and have a fish-theme. The carousel opened to the public on August 20, 2015.

SeaGlass architecture was inspired by the chambered nautilus (a mollusc), the spiraling pavilion of glass and steel. The project was made by architectural firm WXY and artist George Tsypin. The design is also unusual for placing its operating machinery under the floor, so that there is no post in the center of the ride.
