Photographer's Note

I've been sitting on this one for a while, couldn't decide whether to post it or not. The main con was the overexposure at the back, which created a strange reflection on the buildings. Well, I finally decided that the scene was worth while posting...
This is Times Square, Friday noon, a nice day and people are all in line to the discounted tickets booth. Within the parimiter of Times Square there is a square in the middle of the road, and every Friday there is an early sale of discounted tickets for on and off Broadway plays. The catch is that they do not announce in advance which plays will be included on their list, so sometimes you'll come all the way there to see that the play you're interested in is not on their list (although they always have quite an impressive list). Another problem is that they have a limited numbet of tickets, so it once happened (not this time) that I waited an hour an a half in line and when I finally got to the booth, they were out of tickets to the play I wanted to see...
So this photo illustrates just how many people wanted discounted tickets this day...
