NY bridges, a photo from New York, Northeast

Photographer's Note

Hi all.

I decided today to start a short theme dedicated to the bridges in NY, especially around Manhattan.
The years I spent in the Tri-State Region have been great. Because I wanted to see as much as I could, I spent a lot of time in the car. That's why many pictures from that time I took while driving.

It's the case with this photo too. I was driving on the BQE (Brooklyn Queens Expressway) and approching the exit for the Brooklyn Bridge, that you can see in front. This is a beautiful segment of the BQE, offering a great view on the east side of Downtown Manhattan and East River.

A great aerial view of the place you can find in Can𠏋 picture (Brooklyn Bridge is the first on the left, out of the three bridges in the pic).

Also, in the WS, a photo of the Downtown Manhattan, again from the car and from the same point on the BQE. The Macy's fireworks were getting ready for the 4th of July celebrations.

Hi Larissa, nice B&W of the BQE and of course the BK bridge. I like your photos of manhattan's structures. Since you were in a car, its excusable for the spots on the windshield.
