A Flower Garden

This is a small portion one of the Flower Gardens at Longwood Gardens. Beginning in April tulips and other bulbs bloom in a rainbow of color in this garden. By mid-May, summer annuals begin blooming and flourish throughout the growing season. Color plays an important role, progressing from cool lavenders and blues to fresh pinks, reds, warm yellows, and oranges ending in whites. This flower garden is one of the twenty outside gardens at Longwood. There is a large conservatory with 20 additional gardens.

See more information about Longwood Gardens and the Peirce-DuPont House in my Water Lilies post.
