Photographer's Note
I have enhanced the contrast and decreased the gamma correction a bit. I liked the color of the flower but would have preferred not to have had those leaves in the background.

Really strange indeed like some mechanical construction but magic !
You captured fantastic shapes and colors. I would have increased slightly the DOF so as to have the whole flower in the focus range I guess.
Hypnotizing...

Nice shot! This is clearly a "Passion Flower" of some kind (Passiflora sp), and you've done a good job capturing its intricate detail - unfortunately I find the line across the bottom left corner slightly distracting... Next time consider moving your focussing point even closer so you can use up the depth of field earlier, and check to see what's in the background. Well captured :-)

In the tumb nail it looks like a flower with some sort of electric device on it... indeed strange. Colors are beautiful, and I can see why you chose to place the fucus point on the center of the flower. There is a price to pay at the edges, but the center is very interesting and well worth focusing on.
Well done!

I'm certainly no expert with Photoshop but I spent about 15 minutes with the clone tool and roughly removed the leaves in the backgroung. I have posted as W/S.
This is a striking image but as you have suggested in your notes I think it looks even stronger without the distractions in the background.

Santosh: Beautiful Passion Flower. I agree with you and Keitht's workshop to not have leaves in the background.
Truly stunning shot! Great composition.

Santosh,
This is the passion flower...not strange...just "exotic." I like your Photoshop enhancement of this...I took a similar shot of one that I'll post on Treklens...without the PS touch. Seventy countries, by the way, ain't nothin'...I still have 350 more to go...ha!

Great shot Santosh!
Good detail in the flower, and personally I don't mind the leaves in the back. Although I would suggest avoiding putting your subject centered in your photo, (rule of thirds). Overall, a nice shot.
Cheers!

Quite alien good observation, never come across such a flower.
colours stand out.
Cropping would help the frame.
