Photographer's Note
Located on East Bay Street in Charleston you will find a row of 13 colourful Georgian houses called the Rainbow Row. The houses dates back to the 18th century and was built by merchants which had their business in the first floor and lived in the second floor. It is of course one of the most photographed parts of Charleston, but I don`t think there are many posted here on TE. Well, here is my contribution, anyway.

Hi Erling
I would never have thought this was taken in the Southern US States. I guess it just doesn't have that look to it, looks more like a place we'd see in Italy or France, or perhaps even in Bergen with its colourful houses on the hills. But then again those houses are more round and larger than these.
well, you certainly are showing us something different with this one, Rainbow Row in Charleston.
pretty cool look to it. good light and shadow combinations.

Hi Erling,
Original attractive POV of this old street. Very European, nothing American in this scene. Well observed.

Good evening Erling,
Nice contribution, really did not see many picture from this town which located in the "south" states, and have special architecture's jewels to look at.
Fine depth and despite the shadows, we can appreciate the colorful facades and its outlines.
Best regards,
Ike

Hello Erling,
I visited this very charming town two years ago. If you wouldn't know better you would think that you were in a southern France town. The saun, the plants and the colours and tone in this photo contribute to this idea.
