We have been blessed the past few days with some of the most glorious weather you could ask for. High 70's, sunshine, soft breezes and low humidity. Late Sunday afternoon, we and the kids went to the park. Oh my. Sheer heaven. It was packed, though. I'm amazed I managed to get a shot without it being full of people. I love this view. My friend, Braca, (bracasha75), is very fond of nature and beautiful trees, so I post this for him. I hope you enjoy it.

It's hard to believe that this park was full of people. The tree provides a nice frame to the lake as well as being a nice subject on its own. Well done.

There sure is a special feel to South Carolina, that's what I always thought anyway, and this lovely view proves it once again. Nice, peaceful, meditative. Yes this is a very calm and nostalgia one scene. I think a typical famous set for movie. Bench and table are mixed with surrounding natures completely.

Well, not only Braca is fond of nature and trees...
Every thing is perfect: from the tree with the spreading branches that form a diagonal to the lake and wood in the background that makes a fine cromatic contrast. The bench there is a smart touch. I do like it!

Hi Shelly,
Wow what a lovely spring time view in the shade of Braca's fine oak tree.
What a great spot for a picnic looking out on the placid lake that catches a nice reflection from the trees towards that tiny little island in the blue water.
I'll bring the fried chicken and Braca can bring the watermelon.

I've always been an admirer of the scenery that you give us to know. Sites are full of harmony and tranquility compared to the chaos that reflect the major cities.

Despite the shadows, born of the leafy tree, there is a good combination of colors and a good distribution of light. A great atmosphere for reading a book, sitting in the bank they see.
