Happy Holidays to everyone at TE!
I shot this mare late one afternoon on my way home from town. We live in the Hill Country of Central Texas. A primarily rural area, the countryside surrounding our home is mostly open grazing land.
The series of shots I took this day, were my first closeups of a horse. I think the late light produced some nice warm colors.

Hi Howard,
really nice horse portrait.It is must be difficult to catch this beautiful animal when it is not moving,but this photo is perfectly sharp.
