Photographer's Note

White-fronted Amazon parrot (Amazona albifrons). White-fronted Amazons, also known as the Spectacled Amazon, are small Amazon parrots native to Mexico and Central America. They are able to "talk" and some develop large vocabularies, depending on the amount of time spent.

At first, I thought this was a thick-billed parrot, as the Desert Museum is involved in conservation and breeding programs with these birds. But, I couldn't find any pics of a thick-billed with a white forehead ruff.
