Photographer's Note
This is an image I took a number of years ago; I was doing a last travel through the state as I was preparing to move to Hawaii. I've never been happy with this image, because I've never been able to get the scan to match the original transparency. I did another attempt this morning - I'll see in a few days how I like it.
This image was taken at Signal Hill, Saguaro National Park (West Unit), just outside Tucson. Signal Hill was probably a Hohokam culture sun-watching station and ceremonial site. It was done on an Omega 45D View Camera, using Ektachrome 100 Plus (EPP), with a polarizing filter of some type - it has been so long I forgot.
