KIRKWOOD SKI RESORT !

I learned how to ski back in 1982/1983 when I was an exchange student in Colorado! After that, I'd only ski again in Switzerland in 2005 and I chose the best way and place to do it that time: Gornergrat / Zermatt ! After that, I decided to go on and try to ski in many places around the World! It'd be difficult to go to as many places as I wanted to, but I've been trying... Chile (Puc鏮), Argentina (Bariloche and Ushuaia), Canada (Banff, Lake Louise and Whistler) and USA (Lake Tahoe) were some of the places where I did that!
LAKE TAHOE, its ski resorts and their beauty, is certainly one of my favorite spots on the Planet Earth!
Here's some of the beauty one could appreciate while skiing in KIRKWOOD!

Hello Ney,
Really can't understand why I am the first the critique this splendid image. The composition is simple surely, but it is very attractive and benefits much from a lovely light and pleasing natural tones. I like the use of the foreground tree that is so different to the others as a frame; it is particularly nicely lit and has excellent textural detail. Have a fine weekend.

Hello Neyvan.
A wonderful landscape with snowy mountains and blue sky, which gives a fabulous contrast, this perfect foreground, with the variety of pine framing the spectacular peaks.
Very well managed the brightness and sharpness, with a beautiful color, in these natural tones.

I like the lighter big tree at left. The fg trees add depth and frame the bg lake nicely. The snowcapped peaks in the distance form a majectic backdrop. Good sharpness and density levels with a good exposure on the white highlights of the snow. Have a nice week!

Hi Ney,

A nice little change of pace, this time we get a view looking upwards. Really can't go wrong either direction though, this has been a fun series of pictures to follow...especially from the warmth and convenience of dry land. :) This looks really ideal in nature though, I certainly wouldn't mind spending some time outside in the snow and under the sunny blue skies to enjoy these surroundings. You really don't need much more when nature provides this kind of material, all you have to do is line is up properly...and you've done just that, well done indeed! Bright, airy and full of detail. Enjoy the new day ahead. All the best.

Awesome, very fresh looking winter landscape. You chose your PoV carefully, mountain peaks showing between those longer trees. Trunk of that pine is really thick!

Fine panorama of a portion of Kirkwood, the forest, surrounding mountains, and distant peaks. I enjoy cross country skiing next door to Kirkwood. And the area is certainly away from crowded civilization.

A beautiful landscape, deep snow is always good value especially under the brilliant sunlight & colours and the title says it all. Nice crisp with the breath taking backdrop links nicely to the fg leading us into a nice scene. You have handled the exposure really well. Great capture, and TFS

Hello Neyvan,
due to some traveling missed loads on very nice pictures of yours. Your gallery extended by some really pretty ones. Obviously the lake area provides plenty of photo opportunities and you made the most of them. This one is a gorgeous winter scenery with lovely clarity and very nicely saturated colors. The framing has been well planned with interesting trees taking the foreground and mountains finishing the landscape on the second plan.

Your US trip photos are all beautifully posted with sharpness, awesome colours and detail which would take time to go through carefully to admire. This is a superb image of these snow covered peaks towering over the alpine forest. You have captured the beauty of it in a well composed shot, with sharp detail, great colour and contrast. The intense blue sky blends beautifully with the snow carpet. A lovely image that lets this beautiful place speak naturally.

as for your shots here, its hard to pick only one but I went with this photo.
really enjoy the lighting on the front of that tree, and the top of the mountains in the bg squeezed in the middle for a clear view.

latua California � straordinaria anche perch� insolita rispetto a quello che ci aspetterebbe di vedere.
Al posto di coste assolate, surf, foche e leoni marini abbiamo cime innevate, alberi verdi e paesaggio incantato.
Ma nel confronto di sicuro l California non ci rimette tanta � la particolare bellezza delle tue fotoo, tutte ottime e ricche di dettagli e nelle quali il colore certamente non fa difetto.
Complimenti ancora una volta.

Sorry for my long no contatct with you due to several reasons. Wow greart Winter image of so sharp and clear presentation ata ll. Now there is in Spring full of floweres in Japan but I miss winter with this your fantastic image. Perfect framework and composition are your trademark.

A pristine scene you've caught here under beautiful, cloudless skies. The composition is strong, with the main tree marking the thirds position. Of course, pin-sharpness, and - not of course - good, natural colours. A winner.
