Photographer's Note

About a five minute drive there's a seldom used park. I just recently discovered it, and have gone there to walk or just get some quiet time. The park was built on a former landfill, and is full of little critters. I've seen colonies of squirrels, bunnies, herons, geese, and at lunch time jogging humans form the local Sun MicroSystems buiding. It's a bit different because there isn't anything fancy about this park, just beautiful views of the bay area, the salt marshes, and lots of animals.
I had just stopped my car when I saw these guys in the water, suddenly they began to fly and this photo came out. The other photos of their flight were quite blurry. I didn't really know what to do with this photo so I just cropped it, sharpened it and here it is. I really like the shadows in the water.
